Name: Herbert Tiller (Shakir EL-Kaleem)

Birthday: April 5th

Family: 1 Biological Daughter, 1 Adopted Daughter and Son

Interests: In college I began studying African History, particularly Pan-Africanism, Ancient African Spirituality and Pre-Arabian Islam. I soon became an Iman which is like a Pastor and my name was changed to Shakir EL-Kaleem and I have just completed 2 book drafts, which will be published in 2010. But my greatest love interest is living in harmony with God, being a good Dad with lots of Laughter and lots of love.

What was your fondest memory @ the Ten?
All the friendships and bonds.

What have you been up to since the Ten?
I joined the Air Force right out of High School, went back to school 7 years later, while working in the community as a Community Activist.

In 1990 I moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I became a Muslim and opened a Temple as an Iman. I soon started working with families, feeding the hungry and working with addicts in recovery.

I am currently expanding the recovery work to include economic self-empowerment. I trust by mid-2010, the business will not only help addicts in recovery, but move them into business, which will be in manufacturing(factories), transportation (trucks) and food production (urban farming).
